Description
The KFV Lever Operated Latch & Deadbolt Gearbox has 35mm or 45mm backset, 92mm centres, is single spindle, latch & deadbolt centre case, 210mm case height and has 50mm or 60mm case width. Early KFV multipoint locks used different rivet spacing and connectors to attach the gearbox to the strip. This is not an issue when replacing the complete lock, but it is important to note if you only need a gearbox, as the latest versions will not suit very early models. Current KFV locks are supplied with the gearbox fixed to the faceplate using screws for easier replacement. This gearbox is suitable for KFV lift lever mechanisms. HandingThe latch can be reversed by locating the screw on the side of the lockcase, in line with the latch. Remove the screw, push the latch out from the back and reverse it, then refit the screw in the side. OperationLocking Method – A. Lift lever to engage locking mechanisms and then one full turn of the cylinder to lock. One full turn of the key, then push down on the lever to unlock.
