The YALE Doormaster Lever Operated Latch & Deadbolt Single Spindle Gearbox To Suit Mila has 35mm backset, 92mm centres and has 50mm case width. To suit old style Mila cases, it offers a cost effective solution for repairing or refurbishing existing door systems without needing to replace the entire strip. Please note that the fixing points are unthreaded and require the use of self tapping screws. Please note that some older locks are fitted with an offset or cranked connector. This only affects gearbox replacements, not full length locks, but it is an important factor to check before fitting. Replacement gearboxes are now supplied with inline connectors only. They remain compatible with older locks. However, the drive gear behind the faceplate would need adapting by modifying the square hole in the drive gear into a slot to ensure correct operation. HandingThe latch can be reversed by removing the screw in the side of the case, removing the latch, flipping it to the opposite hand and then refitting the screw. OperationLocking Method – A.
